Anyone that knows me, knows that if I can get away with doing something differently, I probably will. That’s why I’ve decided on not having a white dress for my wedding. Such a drab colour, and it reminds me of funerals. Who would want to look like a big puffy cloud on their wedding day?!? Thank the gods that Indian brides love colour! It brings life into the wedding and reception when the bride doesn’t look like the freakin’ ghost of christmas past. I’ve picked three that I really like, and I guess I’ll decide eventually.

Number one

Choice no. 1

This is my first choice for my wedding. The colours are so vibrant and worthy of a celebration. The cutdana and kundan work are absolutely gorgeous! I love how you see a peek of orange underneath the deep pink pallu. The curvy edges makes me want to weep in happiness! The embroidery makes me want to dance a jig. I love this saree!! It looks a little heavy though. I’m pretty sure georgette isn’t heavy… is it? Maybe the embroidery will weigh it down? Bah! Minor setback! The embroidery pattern along the edge is pretty repetitive, it has no natural flowing feel to it like no.2 and no.3. It’s still very pretty though.

Number two

Choice no. 2

I really like the edges on this one as well! The blue is light and elegant. It really looks much lighter then the above one. the green and blue aren’t in as much contrast as the orange and pink. The colours aren’t as eye catching as the pink and orange, but it . I mean, just look at the embroidery and mirror work! I drool for it. The patterns along the edging has a more natural free feel then the first one. The chick modelling it looks weird though… Her face just gives me the heebie jeebies! I mean lookit!

Number three

Choice no. 3

This looks pretty much like my second choice but pink and mustard yellow. The embroidery on this one is definately heavier then no. 2 but lighter then no. 1. I just like the different colours, they’re pretty! Same ugly model.

I like number one the bestest. Pink and orange are your favorite colors, aren’t they? I mean besided purple!
